FBC Lake DAllas Youth

WHERE STUDENTS GROW IN FAITH

At FBC Lake Dallas, our goal is to reach students by building relationships that allow for discipleship, community, and accountability. We realize the importance of Christ in their lives and the necessity of the Gospel for students today. We use that as a framework to inform all of our activities together. This is a safe environment for them to be themselves and ask questions.

Wednesday Youth group

Every Wednesday night, our youth group gathers for a time of fun, friendship, and faith. Students enjoy games, worship, and meaningful conversations while learning how God’s Word applies to their everyday lives. It’s a welcoming space where teens can belong, build lasting friendships, and grow in a strong foundation of faith in Jesus.

Gospel centered teaching

Our youth group uses The Gospel Project from LifeWay to guide students through the Bible in a way that’s engaging and Christ-centered. Each lesson connects God’s Word from Genesis to Revelation, helping students see the big story of the gospel and how it applies to their lives today. Through discussion, activities, and worship, students grow in understanding, faith, and the desire to live out God’s truth.

serving others

We believe faith is meant to be lived out through serving others. Our youth are encouraged to volunteer in the church, reach out in the local community, and take part in missions that share the love of Jesus beyond our walls. Serving together helps students grow in compassion, strengthen their faith, and see how God can use them to make a difference. It’s more than volunteering—it’s living out the gospel in action.

“Don’t let anyone despise your youth, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.”

After several years serving in a youth intern capacity Aaron Howard has taken over our youth ministry. Aaron has felt the call into ministry and has responded. He leads an energetic group of students where he emphasizes serving others and engaging in discipleship.
